The ideal candidate will provide primary coverage for adult patients admitted to St. Luke's Nampa, including med/surg, ICU, tele. ICU has pulmonology critical care telemetry coverage including vent management.  Procedures are welcome but coverage available for providers not interested in performing.  Candidates who enjoy full spectrum hospitalist roles, a universal admitter approach, and rural/underserved care, will find this role very fulfilling.  We have a positive team culture and collaborative approach to workflows and care. Additionally, collaborating with care teams through in-person assessments and virtual care visits. The selected APP will help transition patients from an acute hospital setting to an outpatient setting, managing symptoms with remote patient monitoring equipment, telephone encounters, and virtual visits. This position does have a four day a week schedule, intermediate weekend coverage , with a required call rotation.    The Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) is responsible for providing high-quality healthcare through the diagnosis and treatment of patients with conditions ranging from mild, to acute and/or chronic.
