St. Luke’s Health system is currently seeking a Post-Acute Care Physician to join our highly collegial and patient focused, multidisciplinary Post-Acute Medical Group.  The selected individual will help to oversee two skilled nursing facility (SNF) sites as the facilities Medical Director as well as provide direct patient care. This opportunity boasts a great work/life balance and call is only required one week every two-three months. St. Luke’s providers partner with several skilled nursing facilities in the Treasure Valley and Magic Valley to provide a level of care that exceeds traditional past practices in nursing facilities and provides on-site availability for when care demands are highest. The St. Luke’s Post-Acute Medical Group provides timely evaluations to both our short-stay patients and our long-term care residents needing chronic care and work diligently to prevent visits to the emergency department or hospital readmissions. Seeking Radiologist with Subspecialty Expertise to work with Award Winning Health System in the Northwest St. Luke’s Magic Valley seeks a radiologist to join the Southern Idaho Radiology team. The team consists of 8 fellowship trained radiologists based in Southern Idaho, providing exclusive services to St. Luke’s Magic Valley, St. Luke’s Jerome and outpatient imaging centers in Twin Falls. We are seeking a fellowship-trained radiologist to replace a retiring partner and accommodate continued growth in our practice. All radiologists provide general radiology services, each with subspecialty backgrounds. We are currently seeking a radiologist who is comfortable providing general radiology care, mammography subspecialty preferred.  We would also consider a fellowship-trained radiologist with appropriate skill sets in other radiology subspecialties. We are a small but very successful and stable group of radiologists with a long track record of providing excellent care for St Luke’s in Magic Valley and Jerome. We are offering a partnership track position which includes very generous compensation and vacation time providing for a good quality of life and great work/life balance with shared weekend call responsibilities. Currently preliminary overnight reads are contracted through teleradiology.  St Luke’s Magic Valley is part of the St Luke’s Health System and opened a new hospital facility in Twin Falls in 2011. The main hospital imaging department provides full general radiology services including light to intermediate IR procedures that all support active emergency and inpatient services. In house PET/CT supports an affiliated robust cancer center. We also have a dedicated women’s imaging center offering 3-D tomosynthesis mammography, breast ultrasound with biopsy, and prone 3-D stereotactic biopsy. Full-time IT specialists from St Luke’s support our McKesson PACS with integrated voice recognition software. The selected candidate will hold a mentorship role, while partnering with administration, medical staff, and patients/families to grow and develop the behavioral health services at St. Luke's.  The candidate will also be responsible for helping to evaluate behavioral health programs, projects, and grants management, while supporting the philosophy, goals, and objectives of St. Luke’s Health System.   Responsibilities - In partnership with his/her Service Line dyad leadership, participate in the execution of system strategies within the specialty/site. - In partnership with his/her Service Line dyad leadership, actively support efforts towards achieving ever-improving clinical outcomes at the lowest total cost of care, including those measures as defined on an annual basis by the organization. - Identify and foster innovative opportunities to improve the value of care and collaborate with the Service Line dyad leadership or delegate in identifying those innovations that may be ready for pilot implementation. - In collaboration with the Service Line dyad leadership or delegate assure performance to meet or exceed quality dashboard and benchmark standards. - At the direction of the System Service Line Medical Director, coordinate services with acute care, post-acute care, and ambulatory leaders to assure most effective utilization of specialty services within the site to drive best outcomes, optimal patient and family experience, and lowest total cost of care. - Support Clinical Documentation Improvement efforts to optimize the complete and accurate recording of illness burden in the group. - Support his/her administrative leadership in optimizing the financial performance of the group, including supply chain and Pharmacy and Therapeutic standardization, as appropriate. - Partner with leaders throughout the St. Luke's Health System to assure reduction in care variation and standardization, where possible. - Serve as a leader, demonstrating the values and behaviors of St. Luke's leadership, inspiring constituents to achieve ever-improving patient-centered care outcomes. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications - Education: Graduation from an APA/CPA accredited School doctoral program. Advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, healthcare quality improvement, or other is desirable, but not required. - Experience: At least 2 years of clinical practice required. Demonstration of progressive leadership roles within healthcare organization(s). - Licenses/Certifications: 1) Membership as a licensed psychologist on a St. Luke's Medical Staff. 2) Maintain state of Idaho license 3) Ability to maintain at least a part-time clinical practice while performing the job duties noted above. While our surgeons primarily offer laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy, they're happy to discuss other weight loss options as well, including duodenal switch, gastric band intragastric balloon, mini gastric bypass, and other new procedures as they become available.  The Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) is responsible for providing high-quality healthcare through the diagnosis and treatment of patients with conditions ranging from mild, to acute and/or chronic. St. Lukes is hiring a dedicated general thoracic surgery PA/NP to support a general thoracic surgeon starting a thoracic robotics program at St. Lukes in addition to management of the full spectrum of general thoracic surgery.   This individual would join a team that consists of 4 Cardiac surgeons, 2 General thoracic surgeons, 4 Cardiothoracic PA/NPs, and 1 dedicated general thoracic PA.  The program offers a wide spectrum of thoracic surgical procedures including VATS, Robotics, and esophageal surgery.    There is a call component to consist of weekdays, to be shared among the group, and 1 weekend per month. Responsibilities include first assist in OR, inpatient rounding and management, outpatient evaluation and management.   JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: - Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master’s Degree and certification, as required by the specialty, as well as eligibility to obtain licensure from Idaho to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. - Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses. - Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension/expression. - Ability to manage a fast-paced, busy clinical environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes. - Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect).   WHY ST.
