St. Luke's Health System is growing and seeks a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join our team of dedicated and compassionate patient-centered providers in Boise and Meridian, ID (Treasure Valley). The ideal candidate will join a mature, busy practice comprised of five physicians and seven APPs, and work in both our Boise and Meridian clinics. The typical patient population will be made up of adults, but there could be an opportunity to see the occasional pediatric patient.  Typical days consist of new patients, follow-ups, joint injections, interpreting labs and imaging, and collaborating care between multiple providers and specialties. Full time consists of 32 direct patient care hours per week, 46 weeks per year.  Boise/Meridian: 1 in 8 call for one week to cover Rheumatology practice. Our Boise rheumatology clinic has a lab imbedded in the clinic, is attached to the rehab hospital with Dexa and imaging and access to a virtual PharmD. Our Meridian rheumatology clinic has a lab imbedded in the clinic, an in-person PharmD and is attached to the hospital and access to Dexa and imaging. Ultrasound is also available. The ideal physician candidate will have a desire with a team based approach and supervise PA/NPs in practice, embraces the culture of “yes” and is a team player.
