St. Luke's Health System in Idaho is currently seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to work in our Nampa hospital. The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is an advanced practice registered nurse who practices in accordance with standards established by the American College of Nurse Midwives Certifying Council or the American College of Nurse Midwives. The role of a CNM is to manage women’s health care - focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, the post-partum care - as well as general reproductive and gynecological needs of well women. The scope of practice of an authorized certified nurse midwife may include prescribing and dispensing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic agents. Other major functions of the CNM will include consultation, collaboration, education, and research.
