St. Luke’s is looking for a talented, energetic, and collegial Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join  the Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Team! This APP will work with patients, their families, and other specialists to develop treatment plans alongside our expert team of fellowship-trained pediatric PM&R Physicians. Tis team provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care, allowing children to achieve their optimal level of independence. The ideal candidate will have a broad base of clinical knowledge and be willing to learn and develop specific skills / knowledge related to neurological and musculoskeletal assessment and management, the inpatient rehabilitation model of care, and longitudinal care and management of patients with disabilities in the outpatient clinical setting.

 

What to Expect

 

  • Weekdays, 4 days per week
  • 2 MD’s 3 RN’s serving 2 bed inpatient rehab unit, inpatient acute care and outpatient pediatric patients
  • Malpractice insurance provided including Tail
  • $3,500 Professional Development Fund
  • 5 CME days are included to complete education aside from accrued PTO

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate education from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant 
  • Experience: experience preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: License and certification, as required by the specialty, or be eligible to obtain licensure from Idaho Board of Nursing to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses
