Overview

 

St. Luke's in Boise is seeking an Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (First Assist is required)  to join our collegial and patient focused Colorectal Surgery team. This busy, but established practice will consist primarily of assisting in both colorectal surgeries, including, but not limited to: minimally invasive techniques and all aspects of colorectal surgery from pelvic floor and anorectal disease to inflammatory bowel disease and malignancy.  Our specialists emphasize coordinated, collaborative care to ensure patients receive multi-disciplinary care. Experience is needed. 

 

What You Can Expect:

  • M-F schedule w/ call approximately one weekend a month
  • Clinic 2 days, OR time w/ rounding 2 1/2 days
  • Support staff in clinic
  • Malpractice insurance as well as malpractice tail coverage
  • $3,500 Professional Development Fund

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master’s Degree and certification, as required by the specialty, as well as eligibility to obtain licensure from Idaho to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
