  • Overview

St Luke’s Children’s Center for Neurobehavioral Medicine in Boise seeks a BC/BE Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our incredibly capable and fun team currently comprised of 4 board certified child & adolescent psychiatrists, 2 clinical psychologists, and 6 therapists onsite.  We have a full time RN, full time MA, and Care Coordinator as well as three full time administrative support staff. Clinic hours are 8 to 5, Monday through Friday. Physicians currently work 4 days per week. Physicians have approx. 5 clinic hours per day while the rest of the day is spent providing co-management with Primary and Specialty Care and working with Clinic Nurse on phone calls and questions.

We have a co-management model where we co-manage patients with primary and specialty care. The physicians see patients for 5 hours per day and help our community based primary care providers manage their patient population. We schedule 90 minutes for a new patient consult and our follow up appointments are 30 minutes long. Our providers share patients and continuously consult and provide updates on the patient’s progress or any concerns with one another. We are part of the only Children’s Hospital in the State. We have access to all pediatric specialties for consult on our patients with medical needs, such as cardiology, GI, and neurology. Because of our EMR, EPIC, we are able to see the patient’s medical history and have a clear picture of their needs.
