St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID seeks a BC/BE Neurologist with a completed Fellowship in Movement Disorders to join an established 10 member, hospital-based Neurology practice. The ideal candidate will be clinically committed to the diagnosis and management of patients with disorders including Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, dystonia, chorea, tics, tardive dyskinesias, ataxias and other tremor disorders. In addition, skills in the use of neurotoxins, patient selection for neuromodulation therapies (DBS), and facility in the advanced programming and management of these systems. Our specialists emphasize coordinated, collaborative care to ensure patients receive system based multi-disciplinary care. The current practice, including other neurological subspecialties, is primarily outpatient in nature with limited call coverage. Opportunities for community outreach, program development, clinical/collaborative research and medical student education are available.
