St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho seeks a full time Primary Care Certified Sports Medicine Physician to join the Division of Orthopedics in the St. Luke’s Clinic as a physician in their Acute Injury clinic in Boise, ID. The Division of Orthopedics is a 30 physician group within St. Luke’s Clinic with sub-specialties such as sports medicine, total joint, foot & ankle, hand & wrist, pediatric orthopedics and orthopedic hospitalists. Primary care BC/BE and a fellowship in sports medicine is required.
Physicians will practice in a patient centered orthopedic walk-in clinic and provide orthopedic care 7 days a week to patients with injuries that have immediate need such as strains, sprains or fractures involving bones, joints, ligaments or muscles. To accommodate the needs of our patients evenings and weekends are required. Previous experience in emergency medicine or urgent care is highly desirable.
