St. Luke's Health System in Meridian, Idaho is currently searching for a BC/BE Lifestyle Medicine Physician to join a team of dedicated, compassionate, and patient-centered providers. This busy and established practice is comprised of 1 Physician, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and a team of allied health professionals including Registered Dieticians, Social Workers, Certified Tobacco Treatment Counselors, Exercise Physiologists, Respiratory Therapist, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapist, and Registered Nurses. The practice offers the most advanced and comprehensive care in the region for Cardiopulmonary Rehab, Peripheral Vascular Disease Treatment, Tobacco Treatment and other lifestyle interventions including The Complete Health Improvement Program, a lifestyle enrichment program designed to reduce disease factors. Lifestyle Medicine, an emerging specialty, focuses on preventing or even reversing many of the most common chronic diseases in today's world.
The city of Meridian is a suburb of Boise located approximately 10 miles from downtown Boise. Meridian is a premier place to live and work with just under 90,000 residents. This clean and attractive city is framed by mountains and has a pleasant mild, 4-season climate and excellent commerce.
