Overview

St. Luke’s Health System is looking for a part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Internal Medicine Hospitalist team to cover our inpatient units in Nampa. We are looking for a candidate to help us in our strategy to be the community’s trusted partner in providing exceptional, patient- centered care. Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or NP's with Hospitalist experience are highly preferred. 

 

Our Nampa facility is a state-of-the-art, brand-new facility that opened in the fall of 2017. Currently, Nampa has 35 inpatient beds open, and will be have 58 beds total by the end of the year.

The city of Nampa, in Canyon County, is located on the west end of the beautiful Treasure Valley.  Approximately 30 minutes from the capital city of Boise, it features the perfect mixture of rural and urban living and boasts the strongest agricultural economies in the entire state.  This being Idaho’s largest metropolitan area.  Nampa offers a rich environment with endless natural beauty, local history, culture and economic well-being. 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master’s Degree and certification, as required by the specialty, as well as eligibility to obtain licensure from Idaho to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
  • Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension/expression.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, busy clinical environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes.
  • Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect).
