  • Overview

    St. Luke's Clinic Trinity Mountain in Mountain Home is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for full-spectrum care. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about rural healthcare, and would like to have a significant, direct impact on the community. 

     

    The Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) is responsible for providing high-quality healthcare through the diagnosis and treatment of patients with conditions ranging from mild, to acute and/or chronic. The APP works under the supervision of a designated physician, and in collaboration with a team of other providers and staff.

     

    ABOUT MOUNTAIN HOME:

    Mountain Home is the largest city in Elmore County.  With a vibrant rural community of 15,000, the city sits between the Danskin and Owyhee Mountains in beautiful and rugged southern Idaho. Located just 40 minutes southeast of Boise, Mountain Home has an economy based on industry as well as the city’s proximity to the Mountain Home Airforce Base.   Residents benefit from a cost of living roughly fifteen perent less than the national average.  The city enjoys clean air, low crime rate and an abundance of recreational opportunities.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

    • Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master’s Degree and certification, as required by the specialty, as well as eligibility to obtain licensure from Idaho to practice as a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner.
    • Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
    • Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension/expression.
    • Ability to manage a fast-paced, busy clinical environment related to changing patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes.
    • Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect).
