Overview

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho is currently seeking a Lead Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing, hospital-based Inpatient Neurosurgery team. The position is structured as a .25 FTE administrative (lead responsibilities) and .75 FTE clinical, offering the opportunity to both shape team operations and provide direct patient care.

In this role, the APP will provide high-quality healthcare through the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic conditions, working under the supervision of a designated physician and in collaboration with a skilled team of providers and staff. You will support the management of patients with injuries, tumors, or other problems of the brain, spinal column, and nervous system. Care is coordinated across the inpatient neuroscience unit, the intensive care unit (ICU), and the surgical intensive care unit (SICU).

As the lead APP, responsibilities include supporting team development, collaborating with physician and nursing leadership, and contributing to operational and quality improvement initiatives within the neurosurgery service line.

Previous APP experience is required for this position.
